Scope of Services
Nexus Roofing provides professional metal roofing services, including material procurement, site preparation, and installation.
- We supply and install specialized metal roofing systems according to manufacturer specifications.
- Our services include the removal of existing roofing material (where specified) and the installation of underlayment, flashing, and metal panels.
- While we oversee all on-site installation, we act as the primary contractor for the roofing scope of work defined in your project proposal.
Payments & Financials
Payments for roofing installations must follow the progressive billing or milestone structure outlined in your signed Quote or Service Agreement.
- A deposit is required to secure your project start date and initiate material procurement.
- Final payment is due immediately upon substantial completion of the roofing installation.
- Late payments are subject to interest charges as defined in the specific project contract and may result in the withholding of manufacturer warranty documentation.
Property Access & Responsibilities
Homeowners must ensure the site is prepared for a roofing installation to ensure safety and efficiency.
- You must provide clear access to the driveway and perimeter of the building for material delivery, bin placement, and equipment.
- Items sensitive to vibration (such as interior wall hangings or light fixtures) should be secured by the homeowner prior to the start of work.
- You must maintain standard property insurance throughout the duration of the installation.
Project Timeline & Site Conditions
Nexus Roofing makes every reasonable effort to adhere to scheduled start and completion dates.
- Metal roofing installation is highly weather-dependent; delays due to rain, high winds, or extreme temperatures are sometimes necessary for safety and roof integrity.
- We will communicate promptly regarding schedule shifts caused by weather or supply chain availability.
- Unexpected deck rot or structural deficiencies discovered during teardown may require a Change Order and additional costs before proceeding.
Warranties & Third-Party Materials
We stand behind our workmanship and the quality of the materials we supply.
- Workmanship warranties are provided directly by ${companyName} for the period specified in your contract.
- Material warranties are provided by the manufacturer. We will assist in providing the necessary documentation for your warranty registration.
- Warranties are only valid once the project has been paid in full.
Acceptable Conduct
We maintain a professional and safe work environment for our crews and our clients.
- You agree to treat all installers, managers, and support staff with respect.
- For safety reasons, homeowners and residents must maintain a safe distance from the active work zone and falling debris during the installation process.
Limitation of Liability
Nexus Roofing is not responsible for indirect or consequential damages resulting from project delays or weather events.
- Our liability is limited to the roofing services and materials outlined in your signed agreement.
- We are not liable for pre-existing structural issues or internal damage caused by leaks occurring prior to our involvement.
